Welcome to APSI dotProject - the Open Source Project Management tool

dotProject is used in a huge range of applications and environments, from small offices, single people trying to manage their own workload, companies, government departments, not for profit organisations, schools and so on. dotProject aims to provide the project manager with a tool to manage tasks, schedules, communication and sharing.

APSI uses this management tool to manage a project or maintenance task and the schedule associated with it to achieve the desired outcome. The nature of those tasks and schedules are critical to the project planning, contract negotiation, risk management and cost management.

We also use it as a depository for, Policy & Procedures, MSDS sheets, quotes, and other distributed documents. Other important dotProject information includes, routen maintenance calander schedule, anuual budget, and future projects.

dotProject modules are:

Company / Contacts Modules - maintain a list of companies and contacts

Projects / Tasks Modules - establishing projects and the tasks associated with projects.

Calendar Module - managing events (as opposed to tasks).

System and User Administration - for setting up the system and your user base.

Files Module - for managing files associated with projects.

Forums Module - for generating discussion forums that can be connected to projects.

Resources Module - for managing non-human resources and attaching them to projects.
